After church today we met up with friends to have dinner. On our way home the kids saw a wishing star. Lukas said:
Do you know what I wished for? I didn't wish for anything for myself...I wished that all the people in the world that don't have food will have some.
I was really taken back. I didn't realize that he could comprehend the needs of others and actually want to do something to help. Kids can be really amazing!

What a tremendous statement for a little guy. There is a turn of heart in this generation, shows some great parenting ;) If kids ran the world, such a happier place it would be. The amount the Grumpy old mens club spend on war in a day is more then enough to feed the entire worlds hungry.
